Ahhhh. Silver!
It's that time of the year when I do a lot of supply ordering and the first thing on my list is usually silver. My wholesaler has a minimum order, so it's a huge deal, picking what I need, browsing pages and pages to get the best items at a decent price. I took a risk on a couple clasps this year, sent off the order and prayed I wasn't going to end up with 20 or 30 really awful unsuitable things. Someone must have been listening up there because I'm thrilled with the whole order - in particular the big Bali hooks - both rectangular and the semi-circles.
Meanwhile - the day job is exhausting, The Men in Workboots are coming to yank out the living room carpet and replace it with laminate flooring - which, while it is a very good thing - means that this weekend is for moving a considerable amount of furniture, bric-a-brac, and books out of (and then back into) said living room.
I just want to bead! Please universe! One little lottery! I've been such a good girl!

I'm sure those lovely pieces you chose will inspire many beautiful creations.
If I lived closeby I'd come help you move things around. Hope it goes smoothly for you.
Isn't beadwork a blessing? The promise of getting to play with beads keeps me sane these days.
Wow, that is very nice. Do you have a website besides here to showcase display your work?
very, very classy clasps! they look like they'll be fun to work with too!
You found some wonderful clasps! Can't wait to see what you do with them.
Libby. That explains the insanity then. No time to bead! And it's the only form of meditation that I do!
Youropinion...I plan on my own website. I have the URL reserved. There's the shop on etsy. Now, all I need is time.
Hi BB! Aren't they pretty? I'm tiring of the magnetic slides. I've always liked them because they're thin and don't take over the cuffs, but I think these new ones will be a nice compliment - and if cuff slides to clasp up position, it will still look good!
Christina, me either! Trying to be patient and get through the September rush at work. And I won $6.00 on a scratch ticket today. Not the lottery, but it's a start.
I love Bali Silver! I have some myself - I should make some jewelry someday!
How lucky you are to find such amazing clasp. In France, it is so difficult to find nice Bali beads and classy clasp. Congratulations for your choice. I am jalous!
