Bead Embroidered Cuff: "Vienna"

Two cuffs in two weeks.
Do I need to get a life? Possibly, huh.

Love the way the cuff came out!! Just beautiful. I like the second wild wicked beads banner better than the first. Don't know if you wanted an opinion on that but heck their free!
What are those gold things that radiate out from the cab?
Cheers, Denise

just so you don't get carpal tunnel in both hands!
(you're taking lots of tea breaks, right?)

Thanks Denise. I'm going to try the gold banner in a few days. Just want to live with each one a couple days & see how they feel. The gold things are actually copper-finish stamped brass vintage pieces with no holes in them, so they are both glued and sewn on (see the copper stitches next to the half moon?) I love those little pieces and have a few more to use. They fit perfectly around an oval turquoise bead I have.
Hi BB. I am stopping regularly. Doing hand and finger exercises & stretches. I had a bad stress injury in my thumb joint at one time,so I've had good physio advice on how to keep from crippling myself. I always rest when I start to feel at all crampy. (Thanks for your concern.)

LB - It's easy. I have no life. I'm a hermit. When I'm working on vacation, I start before I finish my first coffee & stop as the 11:00 p.m. news comes on. And by the way, you've inspired me to try some layering!
BB - Checking your challenge out now.

Gosh Benedicte! I can actually understand your comment - with my very rusty high school French. Thank you!!

And in Babel Fish translation, Benedicte:
Ça alors Benedicte ! Je peux réellement comprendre votre commentaire - avec mon Français très rouillé de lycée. Merci ! !

where have I been?????

Wow! Linda, you never cease to amaze me!

I love this piece. Oh what fun it would be to sit and make myself one of these. But that looks like meditative work, and I LOVE to lose myself in those, and lately, well, let's just say I can't wait for school days... LOL!

I can't wait for school days either!
Your daughter's I mean - lovely girl but I look forward to seeing a BIG batch of work at your end! It is meditative to embroider, I find. It's my favorite thing. I'll bet you're like that with crochet, right?
