Sunfire Necklace

Points of interest (to those of us who pick up one bead at a time and so are clinically insane) -
There are over 2,000 red beads in this necklace & over 200 fire polished beads. Not that I counted.

This is close in design to "Jet Up & Glow" which I made for the Fashion Forward exhibition and I love the color and stitch change. The red beads are actually ruby lined amber and the camera doesn't quite capture the color except for the top shot. For punctuation, at the end of the fat spiral center, are self-supporting netted beads & a couple of whacking copper Swarovskis. This was fun to make and kept me out of trouble while I wait for a new order of Leslie Dana's Dichroic glass cabochons.
