Midnight Amethyst

I've had these fantastic fire polished beads, unimaginatively labeled "crystal grey," with flashes of red, gold and blue and the other day, thinking about teaching what I call "padded spiral stitch" I started matching the fire polished beads to seed beads. Rediscovered some midnight purple matte Delicas...and off I went. These will enlarge considerably if you click on the images.
Delicas, czech beads, 4, 6 & 14 mm crystals, with woven beads, center rondelle and a sterling silver catch.

This is just SO gorgeous! Are you selling your work? Does this have earrings to go with it?
I'll come back to look again.

lj,

i love it! this necklace is reminiscent of a deliciously rich red wine- a good and very expensive merlot. propping it on a wine glass makes it sumptuous. once again, you've done it. cheers to the beading goddess!

Linda, this piece is awesome! I think you may have helped me rekindle my creative juices. I've been so out of it as far as beading lately. But this piece, man, I want one!!!! Love the colors!

Hi Jewels! Well, good. I owed you a cup of inspiration. And PS - you have NO idea how hard it is NOT to wear this one. And I'm telling myself NO NO NO, it's stock!
BeadFX carries the fabulous crystal grey beads - and the delicas are a matte dark purple with deep blue glints...AB finish, I think, but I'm not sure - I now label colour numbers but didn't when I bought those. Just remember they came from That Bead Lady.
