African and Brand New Box of Crayons

One of the first stitches I learned was tubular peyote and it's still my all-purpose favorite. Both the outer neckpiece and the inside necklace Big Beads are worked over vinyl tubing purchased from my local hardware store. At the time I made these, I was on a binge of using bright, opaque beads.

I think they were buried on there somewhere, BB. But I'm not sure. I have a great shot Alex (the photographer)took, but haven't shipped it home yet. I get into stages of loving bright color and regular opaque beads.

I love the full saturation of color that opaque seed beads have. These are beautiful and reminds me of Native American style beadwork as well. Lidia
